    From requirements to readiness.

A technical review connects the equipment with the people, infrastructure and protocols that will use it.

The scope of installation, training and support is agreed for each project. Configuration and service availability depend on the country.

    1. 01

      Review the clinical setting

Discuss the intended workflow, responsible team and the institution’s procedure requirements.

    2. 02

      Confirm the configuration

Review GEMMA, compatible lines and filters against the product documentation and local requirements.

    3. 03

      Prepare installation

Clarify electrical conditions, sensor and pressure checks, and commissioning arrangements.

    4. 04

      Prepare the clinical team

Plan training in line setup, operating modes, alarm handling and preventive maintenance.

    5. 05

      Plan consumables and follow-up

Discuss consumable needs, documentation and the maintenance and support scope.

    Clinical training

Your team, trained on GEMMA in your own clinic.

Training happens where the procedures will happen: with your staff, your equipment and your protocols. It moves from the principle of membrane separation to the first procedures, step by step.

      Fundamentals

Membrane separation, the extracorporeal circuit and the GEMMA documentation: brochure, filter guide and the reference book.

    2. 02

      Set-up and priming

Mounting the SM-PF-01 lines and the plasma filter, priming, and checking sensors and pressure before each procedure.

    3. 03

      Operating the procedure

Single- or dual-needle modes, flow, the blood : anticoagulant ratio and monitoring on the device display.

    4. 04

      Alarms and safety

Air detection, pressure, automatic stops and visual and acoustic alarms: how to respond and how to resume.

    5. 05

      First procedures and follow-up

The first procedures with our team alongside, then preventive maintenance, records and ongoing support.

    GEMMA / Portable by design

    Plasmapheresis where the patient is.

8 kg and the size of a small case. GEMMA travels with the clinical team, to the patient’s home, the clinic or the hospital, so the procedure goes to the patient.
